As of December 8, 2022, consumers may legally possess marijuana; on February 6, 2023, dispensaries will be able to legally sell marijuana and marijuana-infused products to consumers! The main difference is medical patients require a medical marijuana ID, approved patients receive 6oz of allotment within a 30-day period, and the tax rate is up to 4%. For adult use (or recreational) any individual who is at least 21 years of age has up to 3oz of allotment a day, they can be in possession of up to 3 oz of marijuana at any given time, and the tax rate is about 6% plus any local taxes.

Products are tested to find different elements such as their cannabinoid profile and terpenes on the flower. They also test for other elements such as heavy metals, microbial impurities, moisture, mycotoxins, pesticides, and any residual solvents.

Unfortunately, people who are not medical patients, support persons (must be 21+), or adult-user cannot enter the dispensaries due to DHSS and state of Missouri laws.
