Kind Goods – Recreational Cannabis FAQ 

We at Kind Goods are so stoked about the recent election that brought this transition to Missouri as a recreational market. Now, what does this all mean? As of December 8, 2022, consumers may legally possess marijuana; on February 6, 2023, dispensaries will be able to legally sell marijuana and marijuana-infused products to consumers! Still, got some questions? Below are some common FAQs we put together for you!

What is considered an adult-use consumer?

Any individual who is at least 21 years of age.

What is the difference between medical and recreational? 

The main difference is medical patients require a medical marijuana ID, approved patients receive 6oz of allotment within a 30-day period, and the tax rate is up to 4%. For adult use (or recreational) any individual who is at least 21 years of age has up to 3oz of allotment a day, they can be in possession of up to 3 oz of marijuana at any given time, and the tax rate is about 6% plus any local taxes. 

What is an allotment? 

The purchase limit set in place by DHSS and state of Missouri laws. For medical its up to 6oz of marijuana within a 30-day period. For adult-use marijuana, it is 3 oz of marijuana a day. 

Do I need a medical card to shop? 

o For medical – yes, you will need an approved medical patient ID.
o Caregivers will be required to provide caregiver ID & a valid government-issued ID.
o For adult use – no, you will need only need a valid government-issued photo ID.

What types of IDs to get in?

A valid government-issued photo ID – driver’s license, state-issued ID, or a passport. 

What are the requirements?

o At least 18 years or older for a medical card .
o  At least 21 years or older to shop at adult-use dispensaries.

Are there any purchasing limits?

o   Medical patients can have up to 6oz in a 30-day period.
o   Adult-use can purchase up to 3oz a day and can possess up to 3 oz at any time.

What types of products do you offer?

We offer everything from dabbles to smokables, to ingestible. At Kind Goods, we pride ourselves in our wide range of concentrates, flower, vape carts, edibles, gummies, topicals, and patches, and we even offer suppositories! 

What are the hours of operation? 

All Kind Goods locations are open from 10 am to 8 pm 7 days a week!

What types of payments do we accept?

All Kind Goods locations accept debit cards and cash.

Does Medical get different discounts?

Medical patients get the perk of being tax-free at all of our Kind Goods locations.

Is there different forms of products for Medical? 

Products for medical and recreation are the same as of right now. All products go through an accredited laboratory testing all raw materials and finished products to determine the quality. Products are tested to find different elements such as their cannabinoid profile and terpenes on the flower. They also test for other elements such as heavy metals, microbial impurities, moisture, mycotoxins, pesticides, and any residual solvents.

Can you check my allotment?

Patients can check their medical marijuana card allotment by calling any one of our three Kind Goods locations.

Are children allowed into the facility with the supervision of their guardians?

Unfortunately, people who are not medical patients, support persons (must be 21+), or adult-user cannot enter the dispensaries due to DHSS and state of Missouri laws.

Do you accept cash or debit cards via the Herb Curb Drive-Thru?

Yes, we accept both forms of payment. The only form of payment not approved currently is a credit card. Make sure and sign up for Aeropay for expedited online ordering & delivery transactions.
