We’re excited to be a sponsor of this year’s celebration and spend the weekend with our St. Louis community. Expect two days of live music, German food, cold steins, local vendors and plenty of Oktoberfest fun right in the heart of Soulard.
And if you’ve celebrated Oktoberfest with Kind Goods before, you know this isn’t our first time joining the fun.
Oktoberfest, Right Here in St. Louis
If Oktoberfest feels especially at home in St. Louis, there’s a reason for that.
German immigrants began arriving in St. Louis in large numbers in the 1800s, bringing traditions that would leave a lasting mark on the city, especially when it came to beer. St. Louis Magazine takes a deeper look at that history in Tracing St. Louis’ German Heritage Through Beer.
That history is still easy to spot today, from our breweries and beer gardens to the festivals that take over the city every fall.
This year, Soulard Oktoberfest brings the celebration to Soulard Market Park on October 9 and 10. The weekend includes German and local beer, bratwurst and pretzels, live polka and brass bands, local vendors, the Stein Holding Competition and more.
There’s No Place Quite Like Soulard
Of course, the neighborhood is a big part of the fun.
Soulard is one of St. Louis’s oldest neighborhoods, filled with historic brick buildings, neighborhood bars and restaurants, and the Soulard Farmers Market at the center of it all.
There’s a lot more history hiding behind those brick facades, too. St. Louis Magazine explored the stories and architecture behind the neighborhood, including a time when Soulard was home to a collection of breweries beyond the Anheuser-Busch brewery we know today.

Soulard also happens to be home to Kind Goods Soulard, so getting to celebrate Oktoberfest right in our own neighborhood makes the weekend even better.
