Five years. Seven locations. Five consecutive St. Louis Magazine A-List wins. And now, a 2026 STL Headliner award from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
It’s safe to say St. Louis has given us a lot to celebrate!
But behind every award, every new location, and every milestone is something that means even more to us: the community that continues to choose Kind Goods.
As a locally owned and operated business, there’s no place we’d rather call home. From the customers who have been with us since day one to the new faces walking through our doors, we’re grateful for every person who has been part of our journey.
So, we thought it was time to share a little more about who we are, what matters to us, and why St. Louis will always be at the heart of Kind Goods.
Locally Owned. St. Louis Grown.
Kind Goods started in 2021 with a mission to provide compassion and inspire wellness, both inside our dispensaries and throughout the communities we serve.
From the beginning, we’ve believed that shopping for cannabis should be a welcoming, comfortable experience for everyone. Whether you’re a longtime cannabis enthusiast or just beginning to explore your options, you deserve a place where you can ask questions, learn something new, and feel confident in your choices.
That belief has helped shape everything we do.
As cannabis continues to evolve, so do we. We’ve grown from our early days into seven dispensaries across the St. Louis area, but our commitment to creating a positive, approachable experience hasn’t changed.
We’re proud to be locally owned and operated, and even prouder to be part of the neighborhoods and communities that make St. Louis such a special place.
The People Behind Kind Goods
If there’s one thing that makes Kind Goods what it is, it’s our people.
Our budtenders do so much more than help customers find cannabis products. They’re educators, guides, and friendly faces who make each visit feel a little more personal.
Whether they’re walking someone through their first dispensary experience, answering questions about different products, or helping a regular discover something new, our team works to make cannabis approachable for everyone.
And that commitment doesn’t stop at the sales floor. From our store managers to the teams working behind the scenes, it takes a lot of passionate, hardworking people to bring the Kind Goods experience to life.
We’re especially proud of our very own Jacob Fountain, who was voted Best Budtender in St. Louis Magazine’s 2026 A-List Awards. It’s an incredible honor and a well-deserved moment of recognition for one of the people who helps make Kind Goods special.
International Budtender Day on October 20 gives us another reason to celebrate the people who make it all happen.
To our budtenders across all seven locations, thank you for the knowledge, care, and personality you bring to Kind Goods every day. You’re a huge part of why St. Louis keeps choosing us.
Five Years of Growing Together
A lot can happen in five years, and 2026 has given us plenty of reasons to look back and celebrate.
This summer, we marked our fifth anniversary with our biggest celebration yet at 9 Mile Garden. It was a chance to bring together customers, employees, local vendors, and friends of Kind Goods for a day dedicated to the community that’s supported us from the beginning.
And honestly, that’s one of our favorite parts of being a St. Louis business.
From neighborhood events like Soulard Oktoberfest to celebrations that bring people together from across the area, we love opportunities to connect with our community outside the dispensary.
Over the years, we’ve also grown to seven Kind Goods locations, each with its own neighborhood, familiar faces, and community of customers. We’re proud of that growth, but what matters most isn’t how many locations we’ve opened. It’s the relationships we’ve built along the way. Every conversation, every recommendation to a friend, and every familiar face returning to one of our stores has helped make Kind Goods what it is today.
Giving Back to the Community We Call Home
St. Louis has given Kind Goods so much over the past five years, and we believe in doing our part to give back.
Community has always been at the heart of Kind Goods. We want to make a positive impact beyond our dispensary doors by supporting organizations and causes that make a difference.
One partnership we’re especially proud of is with Dogs for Our Brave, an organization dedicated to providing service dogs to veterans. Through our Good Taste Patriot Pop Mega Dosed Gummies, Kind Goods donates $1 for every tin sold to support their mission.
It’s one way we’re able to connect something we do every day with a cause we believe in.
And we’re looking forward to finding even more ways to give back. As Kind Goods continues to grow, so does our commitment to supporting the community that’s supported us.
Because being locally owned and operated means more than having a St. Louis address. It means caring about the place we’re lucky enough to call home.
Five Years of Recognition. A Whole Lot of Gratitude.
Of course, we can’t talk about the past five years without mentioning a few awards.
In 2026, Kind Goods was voted Best Cannabis Dispensary in St. Louis Magazine’s A-List Readers’ Choice Awards for the fifth consecutive year.
That’s five years in a row, from 2022 through 2026, that St. Louis has chosen Kind Goods.
And this year, we added another exciting honor: Best Marijuana Dispensary in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch’s 2026 STL Headliner Awards.
Now, we don’t mean to brag, but we’re pretty proud of those accomplishments.
Not just because of the awards themselves, but because of what they represent.
These recognitions come from the St. Louis community. They’re a reminder that people have continued to support us, believe in what we’re doing, and choose Kind Goods year after year.
For a locally owned business, that means everything.
And while we love celebrating these milestones, we know the recognition isn’t ours alone. It belongs to the employees who show up every day, the customers who continue to support us, and the community that’s helped us grow.
Here's to What's Next, STL!
Five years in, we’re still doing what we set out to do: making cannabis more approachable, helping people feel good, and being a positive part of the communities we serve.
We’re proud of how far Kind Goods has come, but we’re even more excited about what’s ahead.
To everyone who’s visited one of our stores, recommended us to a friend, voted for us, celebrated with us, or simply supported a locally owned St. Louis business, thank you.
You’ve been part of our story since the beginning, and we hope you’ll continue to be part of it for years to come.
St. Louis has given us plenty of reasons to celebrate. Now it’s our turn to keep giving you reasons to choose Kind Goods.
STL Keeps Choosing Kind Goods. And we’ll keep working to earn it.
